Cancer is posing a global threat to health increasing mortality rate and lowering per  capita income. Though less threat is posed by benign cancer (as it can surgically be incised), metastatic cancers can spread from organ to organ in the body. Clinical examination for tumours for some cancers eg breast cancer is easy by palpitating the breast. Other cancers such as prostate cancer can only be diagnose by screening for Prostate Specific Antigen, PSA (in the case of prostate cancer). Early detection can lead to better treatment option, other than X-rays. Some food or fruits have proven effective in the treatment of cancer such as Guanabana (soursop) and bitter kola.
