Energizing Sustainable diagnosis through Research and Innovation
Who we are
The International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Students Associations, IFBLSA, is a global students body. It networks with National student body of the Laboratory field to harmonise diagnostic knowledge among these professionals and as well advocate for better training. Its motto is 'energising sustainable diagnosis across the globe' through advocacy for quality training, quality practice, quality control, quality diagnosis, quality management and quality reporting to ensure or achieve quality global health for all. It promotes laboratory medicine from training schools, enhances practice on bench and enables inter exchange of professional laboratory knowledge. It is in over more than 20 countries and headquartered in Cameroon. One of its great accomplishments is the medical laboratory week organised at the University of Rwanda by Association of Rwanda Medical Laboratory Students, ARMELS under the supervision of IFBLSA. Many online activities had been done to educate Young professionals and students in the practice of laboratory medicine on our 3 WhatsApp platforms and our IFBLSA platform on telegram. Our daily activities, news and events with updates are constantly uploaded on our Facebook page as well. We encourage all students and scientists to like and share our posts on their timelines to help reach other professionals.
